Cancun! I just returned from a beach adventure in sunny Mexico! I had the privilege of attending the Apple Leisure Group (ALG) Mega Fam trip and the ALG Sapphire Elite travel agencies retreat. Both events were very educational and eye opening for me. The one that I learned that I wanted to share with you, NAME, is that immersing yourself in the culture no matter where you travel is the most memorable experience one will have.
I had an opportunity to help paint a school in Cancun for children with disabilities. To my surprise, many travel agents didn’t opt in for this opportunity, but I jumped right on it. I wanted to experience more than just the beautiful beaches of Cancun, I wanted to experience the culture. The school looked amazing after a few hours, and the best part was the smiles and laughter the children had during the pizza party we had for them. I don’t remember all the things I did on this trip, but this one opportunity helping the kids is all I can think about now being home
